On the part between Rivesaltais, Agly valley and Fenouillèdes, you cross expanses of renowned vineyards, watched over by the cliffs of Corbières and its famous sentinels, such as the Château de Quéribus, in Maury.

 

Halfway along, at St Paul de Fenouillet, these cliffs open to the north towards the listed natural site of the Gorges de Galamus and the St Antoine hermitage. On the Aude part, many surprises are in store for you with its forests, the fortress of Puilaurens, which you admire from the Lapradelle viaduct, or the panoramic approach to Axat via enchanting tunnels and its impressive viaduct, with breathtaking views of the St Georges Gorges.
Between Axat and St Martin-Lys station, the train plays a game of hide and seek with the Aude river and its rapids... ​
